(Brookfield, MO) March 25, 2014 – Apex Plastics is excited to announce the addition of Bryan Hagan as our Sales Manager.  Bryan brings a wealth of experience in plastics sales, and will be a great addition to our team.  Bryan will focus on Account Management, Team Building, New Business Development and Strategic Business Alliances.

Bryan started in the packaging business in 1986 selling flexible packaging (packaging tape, stretch film, banding material, shrink film….etc) in Omaha Nebraska for Crown Packaging. He then started in the bottle and closure business in 1991 working for Northwestern Bottle/Tricorbraun. He worked at Tricorbraun for 14 years in the Kansas City metro area, specializing in pharmaceutical, animal health and food rigid packaging. He also worked on setting up customer audits with bottle and closure manufacturers and summarizing audit reports being submitted to the local FDA office. 

Bryan had the chance to get into manufacturing and went to Quality Container located in Ypsilanti Michigan. While with Quality Container, he focused on selling pharmaceutical packers, blakes, liquid and tablet bottles to both major distributors and directly to the end users.  He traveling the western half of the United States to every major city west of the Mississippi. Bryan also was involved and helped implement lean manufacturing procedures at the Quality Container plant.  

In 2008, he went back to work for a local distributor (Infinity Packaging) in Kansas City. A distributor of glass and metal containers, plastic bottles, caps and closures. Covering the Kansas City metro area calling on the Animal Health and Food packaging industries.

Apex Plastics President Damon Neff said of Bryan, “he has spent many years selling plastic packaging and is a sound addition to our team.”  Bryan joins Apex at a time of growth for the company.  Apex Plastics is currently updating and expanding their Brookfield, Missouri facility, with the renovations set to be completed this upcoming fall.
